How to use "ALT TAG" for background images which we use for design purpose

    Dear Friends,
    How to use "ALT TAG" for background images which we use for design purpose

    I have designed a website the a Website Designers Company in India http://imediasolutions.in and checked it http://websitegrader.com/ website for seo test at it say 41 image altag is missing and I have used that images into BG for Design Purpose how could I use alt tag for BG to to clear the issue... Please let know if you have anything....

    You can use this format for doing alt image:

    <img alt="alt text you want to add" src="source of the image" />

    Hope you mean this.:confused:

    Could try a blank alt tag e.g. <img alt=""> or could just call them "design layout" mmmmmmm tricky one

    i think mediasolution is talking about the background image of the webpage not a single image over the whole page. But i wonder what's the idea behind tagging background image.

    Plzz be clear.
