How to use 50k weight? (Help please, Gurus!)

    Hi,

I decided to try out this co-op system in depth ( I had it on one site and it worked decently w/ ~5k weight ).

I have accumulated a bit less than 50k weight. I know it's silly but I pointed it all at one site under one ad, it's not really an important site so if I get penalized for it, so be it.

I have been tracking my backlinks and they seem to be up and down? So does my ranking in Google? It's been about 5 days.

What's a safe amount of weight to point per site and per ad?

    Cheers

Even with a set weight, the amount of impressions will vary greatly.

Google winds up ignoring most of the backlinks from the co-op, and I don't think it will help you much with rankings. Others will argue it can hurt your google SERPS.

The benefit of the co-op will likely be seen with MSN, and if you're lucky, yahoo. In my experience, it seems to work best on yahoo with older, more established domains.

I have never pointed more than 1K weight at any page, but others have had success with much more. Personally, I would split it up with different keywords and between domains at first and then add more later.
