How to: upload wmv and watch it as flash like youtube

like title said i need to upload videos in wmv but i see it through flash player like youtube.com and in the same time i can download the video in wmv ,that means i need to make flash filter only when i need to watch videos, i think its related to flash action script or something like that please help .

 

There is an automatic flv player in macromedia flash. Or if you really wish to have something like youtube, why not just uplaod there, less bandwitdh and space usage. Try googling for a flash player if you are interested in buying or do you want to learn how to make one?

 

yes o want to learn how i have my own host i need to make it on my own site without any external links , flash player is available but i am talking about uploading wmv so it will be wmv but when displaying the video it will be through flash player .

man you dont understand ,these are softwares to convert and i dont want that.

Mido, here is one possible solution.

I had need to convert a .wmv file to Flash (I know you don't wish to convert - bear with me), simply and inexpensively. Here is what I did.

I went to one of my favorite ez-2-use software sites...

and purchased their program.

Then, I used it for the following video.

Yes, it converts the .wmv to a flash video (but you must do that!), however, it SAVES your original file so that visitors can save your .wmv file after you post it for download!

you mean that it is pc software (exe) so i can convert wmv and upload the flash file and wmv file together so wmv for download and flash for views ?

simply not possible, buddy. The server on the site converts em to flv then plays them using that player.

 

The only way to view wmv through a flash player is to convert it to an flv file. You will need to upload both files still. You could try and find a server where you can upload the file and it converts and at the same time it will not delete the wmv.

 

a good software program for this is Swish Video 2

 

so is there any code that converts on the server ?
