Hey all, So far i've created my Wordpress database and user, and the site has the basic wordpress theme on it. I logged into my Wordpress admin panel, and figured out that I had to upload a .zip file for a new theme. The problem is, the theme I downloaded is all .php, .jpg image files etc etc! What do I do now? Thanks
Hey! You don't need a zip. all you need to do upload folder for example I have some theme it's called Royal Blue and that's it no zip's rar's or else.
You can manually upload the theme files to /wp-content/themes/theme_name/ and then activate it from the WordPress admin panel.

I've run into another problem. I seem to have accidentally de-activated Custom Fields, as well as the box which allows me to save and view posts in the (Add New Post) section of my admin panel. I've tried checking the boxes, but It just wont come back! I've had a couple of unfriendly people that just want money, talk to me so far, so i'd appreciate it if someone legit could give me a quick hand Thanks
Another option is to add the theme through the WP Dashboard. Go to Appearance > Add New Themes. Put in the name of the theme and click search or check the features that you want and click Find Themes. You will then be able to install the theme of your choice by clicking Install.
