    Hi,

If you are referring to the cpanel full backup, then as a cpanel user you won't be able to do a restoration, instead you host need to do the restoration as root. First you need to create account with your new host. Then they will assign you server space to upload the content and they can restore your account from that zip file. All the files, mailaccounts, databases etc will be restore without any change.

If its not cpanel please let me know which one is your hosting?

    Regards
    Sreyas

make cpanel send the backup to your new server using ftp and then ask your provider to restore it
