Is it possible to update a old video on you tube without affecting "no. of views" and "comments" which I've already got?
a) sign in youtube account b) Click on More options c) And u will get this URL http://youtube.com/videos/upload
I already have an account and my video is having 900 views and more then 20 comments. Actually I want to replace that same video with the new one, as i've done some changes on the same video. If I'll upload my video again - 'm scared if my old views and comments will go off.
First dont delete it you seem to be bringing in a lot of traffic from it, just use YT's new feature annotations (under edit video) then fill the whole video screen with the annotation with a link to the new video inside the annotation pointing to the video you want to replace it with so people will have no choice but to continue to your new video. You may also want to remove the audio too just to make sure they dont stick around.
