How to update the torrents seeds/leeches/peers info of a torrent website

    i need to know how the torrent websites maintain their seeds and leechers info .
    how do they do that .
    i need to know the process in doing that.
    how to they connect to all the trackrers associated with that torrent and get individual toreent trackers seeds and leechers.updated

    Torrent Tracker are using apache and XBT backened they use a piece of announce.php through which they get seeds and leechers of that torrent
