I have been trying to update my site's alexa info. The thumbnail image of my site is not updated and when i click on the update thumbnail image of my site on alexa it says it will but it never does. It has been over a month and still no update. Also i want to update it so it has my site info.

    Alexa says:
I did that and still no update. Any suggestions?

There are two other ways. Following your site's Alexa link will take you to a page which says, is this your site? or something like that with the option to edit.

The easiest way is placing an info.txt file in your site's root directory as Alexa suggests.

The link that says "click here to update thumbnail" is definitely broken, don't fall for that trick.

I don't know why it takes so long to fix it.

Is the ranking with Alexa the higher the page rank number the better or the lower the page rank number much better? Sorry, am just confused.

I have the same problem getting an update from Alexa. I get this: Thank you, The thumbnail image for "xxxxx.com" will be updated within 48 hours. Then 48 DAYS later, no updated image. I used info.txt file, email, but no results yet. Alexa is crawling the site from cpanel stats but no image update in 4 months.

Good luck ever getting your description on alexa. I tried, and it told me to submit my site to DMOZ...which will never accept any sites.

Yeah, trying to get the DMOZ to update or accept anything is about impossible - good luck!
