How to understand pagerank

    Hi everyone

    I'm hoping someone can help me understand something. The following site has a pagerank of 5: http://www.nextinet.org/.

    However all the backlinks seem to be coming from the same domain. Also some of the articles are simply re-prints from other blogs.

    Am I missing something? How can this young blog have such a high pagerank?

    I would to know too. Pretty clean and neat site with good structure. Also I've noticed some sites are naturally like by google without any much effort.

    Just read what you have asked and than think buddy . Know one can understand page rank . Right now it is pr5 and may be on next update you will see them on pr 3 also . Sometimes it happens and sites get ranked too high according comparing the content but next time pr goes down . Their are so many pro webmasters and bloggers those lost their page ranks and they also don't know how to get them back .
