How to understand or set up a RSS Feed

I've recently started a business for bloggers where I syndicate their content to our community for a monthly fee. This has SEO benefits and the customer gains traffic and new blog readers.

    RSS Service and Contest Sponsorship

Right now I would normally grad their blog feed and burn a copy to feedburner and use that url. For example it would be like this,

    http://www.seomkt.com/feed/
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/Seomkt

I would like to help my customers gain more traffic and backlinks buy syndicating their old content for them. But as you may know feedburner only grabs their newest articles. ( last 10 maybe)

What is the easiest way for me to get this older content from their blog and feed it into my service for them? Remember these are paying customers so this is what they would want I just don't know how to do it.

Right now the only way I know how is to create category feeds but for some reason bloggers tend to add all articles into tons of categories sometimes even filling up the categories with only new articles.

Is there anyway I could pull all of their blogs content without missing any older articles? I would love for my customers to see benefit from our service on older articles.

Thanks so much for the help and feedback!

    Brian

Not unless they have a certain plugin that turns their archives into RSS feeds. Otherwise we are stuck with only what the current RSS feeds provide, which is the most recent articles.

Hi Brian.. i'm surprised that adbox didn't mention about blogsense but I think with the feature of 'backdating' you should be able to pool in old posts.. i'm not 100% sure on this.

On an unrelated note.. interesting site. I'm not on my regular computer right now but i'll touch base with you later in the week regarding syndicating content.

    Heya,

Actually backdating will allow us to post into the past, but will not pull past posts from a remote blog beyond what is available on the RSS feed. So in recap we can publish backwards, but still, we cannot publish old content unless it is available on the feed.
