I bought an old domain, but apperantly its banned in google.
After over a month and hundreds of links, even the main page is not indexed

What should I do to get it unbanned?

    I've no idea about it.
But this article may help you and I think you'd better email Google.
Good luck with your domain :)

I once wrote to googles support as the link to one of our sites had somehow got mixed up with another site (due to the free hosting service used for it, learned a lesson there). They actually replied. You could to the same and see what they say.

I had this happen. Send them a re-inclusion request. They turned it back on after a week or so.

Actually you need to do it in Google's sitemap tool for webmasters. I have done it and it does work if you are sure that the site is clean.

If the domain is banned, I think you will have to contact google to unban it.
Pretty much that's the only option left...
    Best of luck.
    Bye

Yes, use the Google site map feature.

This happened to me 2 months ago, and the domain got unbanned within 10 days.

If you bought it then i think best way is to submit reinclusion request with informing Google that i am new owner and send some proof of whois or what so ever. :)

my personal experience (so it may not work in general).

i had a blog and was new to spam then. some poker sites created comments with links back to their banned sites. there were literally 100's of such links. my blog got banned by google.

when i found out, i deleted all comments and put in some preventive measures. i then wrote to google to inform them. i got 3 canned responses from them but i replied to each canned response.

my domain did get unbanned so i suspect that if you try hard enough, someone over there actually listens. ;)

Send a polite reinclusion request through sitemaps., I have done that twice for 2 of our domains
where our domains got banned due to hijacks

make sure you have no dodgy links coming in, or any black hat techniques on the site then form a re-inclusion request otherwise it'll get annoyed and the big G doesn't tell you why your banned (usually) ;)

    thats the domain: www.affiliatelookup.com
toolbar shows pr2, but the site is not indexed in google and it has a bunch of links.
So i'm quite sure its banned, probably due to being used for spam by previous owner.

strange, someone else on this forum had the same style, I always thought banned domains lost there PR...

I've checked Yahoo and MSN and your fine there, MSN showing 41 links, Yahoo showing 1310, but 1265 have been ommited...quite alot of the links seem to be coming from various blogs and forums, about 60% are from DP alone.

not sure... how long have you been out of the big G? I've noticed that quite a few websites drop in and out of G recently
