How to turn ON a PSU without a M Bord?

    Hi
    I need to turn ON a PSU without a motherboard, and Use it for my some stuff as a Power supply. I have seen some guys done this and , Can anyone tell me how to do this?

    yup, paperclip put in the green and black will do the trick :) just be careful

    use an extension cord.have the psu outside and you inside when you power it on. :D

    even if it works,never leave it unattended.

    Just shortcircuit the green and black cable port, actually this method is used to test the PSU, if you want to use the PSU without motherboard, then remove the black and green wire from the port and just join them and cover with an insulator.
