how to turn off DP subscriptions

not really sure if this is the right place to ask a question about DP, but if it isn't. my apologies, kindly move it to the appropriate forum.

i've been more active here lately, and as my activity increases with posts, so do the emails in my inbox. everytime someone replies to a thread i've posted, i receive an email. i've checked my control panel here, all i see is how to change \ delete current subscriptions, not to how change subscription type all together.

Go to http://forums.digitalpoint.com/subscription.php?folderid=0 to manage your subscriptions.

 

you shall go to your general settings - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/profile.php?do=editoptions
and then you can find the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" under the "Messaging & Notification"
You can choose "do not subscribe" or "through my control panel only" to solve the problem
