    Hello, I urgently need help.

I have just sold one of my websites, but I cannot figure out how to transfer the website files to the new owner.

I am using hostgator to host the website, and the site was built with wordpress (i used the hostgator fantastico to install it).

I cannot figure out how to transfer the files because I don't have the site on my computer, just at hostgator. I tried backing up the site, and then sending those files to the new owner, but for some reason this did not work.

If any one has any idea of how I can transfer these files, it would be very much appreciated.

FTP into your account and download everything on to your PC. Zip all the files and then either email it to the new owner or upload it on to the server and give him or her the link to download it.

Don't forget to save your mysql database for your wp install too.
