How to transfer Domain Name

I have two existing site I need to do is transfer the domain name from XYZ .com to XYZ .co. nz. any body please help? I am associated with GoDaddy.

 

Do both sites have the same content and URL structure?

 

Both domain are hosted in same hosting server or different server?

 

If it's just the domains you need to transfer, first unlock the domain name through GoDaddy. Then request an authorization code. Next, go to the new registrar, select their option to "transfer domain name", purchase that option, and then you should be asked for an authorization code. Input the code GoDaddy email you and that should be it.

If I understand your questions correctly, you are asking to change the domain of your website from .com to .co.nz so for that you need to do much changes. Are you using WordPress? Or you are using simple website without database?

simply copy your whole data and database and paste in to second domain.

 

There is slight difference between registrars, you need to check with your registrar and look out necessary functions/areas/buttonsd to click in your domain control panel.

Generally here are the steps/procedures:-

1. Purchase and request domain transfer at the new registrar.
2. Request authorization code at current registrar.
3. Authorization code received from current registrar.
4. Begin the transfer from the new registrar using the authorization code.
5. Email Notification from current registrar.
6. Domain Transfer completed to new registrar.
