How to transfer domain name from Y! to GoDaddy?

    I called Yahoo Small Business to ask how to transfer a domain name from them to my GoDaddy account. Here's what the rep told me:

    1. Cancel the domain subscription thing
    2. Call Yahoo Small Business two hours later and give them my case number (from my call today), and they will give me a "registry key."


    I just don't understand

    Can't you initiate the transfer from Godaddy's website first?

    Sound like you got some BS thrown your way, but I could be wrong.

    At GoDaddy try to transfer the domain to your account. You may need to "unlock" it at Yahoo first.

    Make sure your correct email address is the admin contact both place before you start the process.
