A domain of mine is expiring in 2 weeks time registered at namecheap and I was wondering how to renew it and get it to godady.

SO I just want to know should I first get it to godaddy and than renew it or first renew it and than get it to godaddy. WHich will be cheaper for me ?

    Regards

On first place, why do you want to transfer?

Because all my domains are registered at godaddy and ONLY this one is at namescheap. :) I want to keep all my domains at one place.

I think you have to initiate a transfer from Godaddy. If I'm not mistaken you will get an authorization code from Godaddy that you need to use to namecheap.

Try intiating a normal transfer to godaddy, if it goes through in the first attempt then all is good otherwise renew it and wait for a week after that and then try to transfer again.
