How to transfer a domain name to Godaddy? Does it cost?

    Sorry for hijacking the thread.But I had a relevant question.
    I have a LLLL.com domain (at Namecheap.com) which is going to expire on 29th Nov. 2008.I was looking to transfer it to other registrar (Name.com) where my other domains are registered at.
    After going through this thread, I think I can save around $9.65 (which is the renewal fee for .com domain at Namecheap.com):).
    That means if I transfer the domain to Name.com by paying the transfer fees (say $8),I will save my $9.65 renewal fee at Namecheap.com.
    Am I right? Can someone help?

    Wel it depends on name.com policy.... if they have the same policy then i gues you can have the luxury of saving a few $s.
