How to transfer a database? Need help asap

    I have a database for a website that i am selling. How to i transfer the database?

    you need to go to phpmyadmin and click the export button. this will save a copy of the db to your hard drive.

    From the command line, execute the following:

    mysqldump –-user yourusernamehere –-password=yourpasswordhere yourdatabasename > anynameforyourbackuphere
