how to tranlate this theme

    hello,

    I am using this theme : http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/shades-of-blue

    after installing I cant find how to translate some of the texts.

    I have "shades-of-blue.pot" file in /wp-content/themes/shades-of-blue/languages

    but even if I edit this page and add the translations its not appear in the site.

    my local language files are in /wp-content/languages.

    any idea?

    Hi
    Yes, when I edit the php file (ie comments.php inside the theme folder) the text is changing, but still I rather to use the language file if possible.
