hi i am bit confused in how to trak visitors , what is bouce rate when we use google analytics, and how do we come to know whaether the visitors is relevant or not, is it good to use free tolls to track visitors or should use only buyed tracking tools so that your competitors doesnt knws abt your visitors
OK, it is hard to understand your post but I'll try. "Bouce" rate is visitors who reach your site then leave straight away. If this is high (i.e. >15%) This is generally an indication that the people are not finding what they are looking for when they reach your site. Stick with Google Analytics. it is as good as most paid tool, and no one can see your stats.
oh sorry dat was Bonce rate.n u got it correct did u ever tried using Google analytic for your competitors url if they are using the tool and have added the tracking code and if we login using there url we directly get there stats......... i m not 100 % sure but this happened to me i log in in for url cladplate.com but mine was icemcladplate.com still i can see the stats of cladplate.com which wasn't my URL
I think google analytics provides excellent interface and a lot of details about visitors. @Namrata: I am sure, you can't see other's traffic details in google analytics unless the owner has authorized your email id.
I would recommend statcounter over google because you really dont want to give goolge more information then they already have.
