You can try using FeedBurner http://www.feedburner.com to track the hits on your feed. Then use RSS Submit to report the traffic from both FeedBurner and Technorati http://www.dummysoftware.com
I would suggest, when you create links in your rss.xml file, have a parameter associated with that link specifically for rss tracking for eg. If you have a link http://www.example.com/page1.htm in current rss xml file then change it to http://www.example.com/page1.htm?refer=rss in the new file. When ever you get a hit, look for the refer parameter, if you have it then bingo... you have a referer from rss Hope this helps. Ketan ps: how about a rep point if you find it useful
