Add query parameters to your URLs and also setup a dedicated bit.ly account which has it's own click tracking.

 

When someone clicks onthe link in the tweet, the header contains a Referer line, but from the other web sites instead of twiiter.

They're the best.
Not only do they allow you to track the # of clicks, but they also give you the time of your clicks.
And if that isn't enough, they also give you the location the click came from : they scan the IP and display the country to you!

 

bit.ly I think is best but it is a tricky one

 

because twitter is too famous world wide their are lots of people always online on twitter and update information everyday.

 

Hey, keep me posted. I've been actively participating in the twitter trend because they say it generates numerous traffic. unfortunately, I don't really know how to track its effectiveness. Once you got some idea about it, I would love to learn from you
