Dear, all I have the problem in how to actually capture someone using my photos and that is legally acceptible. I do not know if the print screen is enough (with the right-button mouse click: wher it shows properties) or just print page (where in printed version stand up and down the web source)? Is there some other way and that is even better to capture those guys in illegal usage? I do not want to actually tell them that I know that they are using my images before some legally good evidences, because they have growing business, and if I alarm them they can only pull the image from the site, and of course,... no way to track them!!! Please, help me! Any advise will be very helpfull! Also, try to give me advise as the MIcrosoft Help: step by step, becuase do not know if I can catch all shorts and terms Thank you very much for every advise!
Maybe you could try the internet archive to see if it was indexed. http://www.archive.org/web/web.php
well, it happened allready once. For the first time, I thought it was honest mistake,..you know, I gave them a call, let them know all the legal aspects, we had the nice conversation, they appologised, confirmed they will remove it,.. etc. After couple of months, I found AGAIN my images and couple of my colegues (we have small local image bank), almost all over the place. For the first time, we tried to print screen, or just print their web, but legally this is not hard evidence, and now, I would like to find the way to capture those guys, and go to court or just having something to go on them! It is really frusturating to see somebody just taking your work and almost as they are smiling at us! Yes, of course, who is to blame, but us, giving on the web? but, when you give the effort to explain and to give a hand and giving up the pricing, as they were "polite" to whithdrawn image for the first time,... so, you see why looking for some "harder" evidences to make? for any further assistance and help I will appreciate more than you can imagine!
I think you need to start sticking watermarks on images you own. I can do this for you if you wish (please don't feel forced to come to me). At least watermarking will rectify the rest of your images from being stolen. However, there is a saying that if it's on the Net it will be stolen. You can do many things to stop them, but if someone really wants to steal your image - they will. That is the sad truth I'm afraid. I hope you get this problem rectified in your favor. Skinny
