    Hi all,

I would like to know how to track third party dynamic pages on my website sub-domain in Google analytics. For eg. I have a website www.xyz.com and my sub-domain dynamic pages links are http://kids.xyz.com/city/?refid=5369&rs_cid=3000020633 something like this and I wanted to track entrance pages all the way booking for new admissions which happens on another site.

Guys can you pls help me out by sharing the best options available to track third party URL's in Google analytics and best way to measure the conversions.

    Thanking you all in advance..!!

Google analytics cannot track a website for its user activities unless the tracking code is added to it. So, if you do have access to those pages wherein you can add the code to the page(s), you can monitor the activities.
If you are wanting to track the entire path of conversions, you can setup funnels wherein you can list all the urls that a visitor needs to visit during the sign up/admission process. This should give you a beautiful data which you may be able to use for different purposes.

Thanks Markweb for your valuable comment. The main problem is that I don't have the access for those pages and those dynamic pages are coming from some other website. Hence, I have already set Goal and funnel setting in Google analytics to track the flow of visitors for those pages.
I just wanted to know is there any other solution to track those pages..!!

Just insert the code of your analytics on required page.

mmm I don't think if this'd help. The reason I say is, users need to use the shortened url in order to get the stats and since you'd be shortening the url and not promoting those pages of your competitors site over the web, you cannot expect to see the stats for that page.

Yes, that's possible, if I am understanding correct. You are talking about the following scenario:

You have a domain abc dot com on which customer has to fill or submit the form.
And traffic you want to sort out from 3rd party site, like xyz dot com

Step 1: You have to set a goal for your domain to track the flow, as you have already done this.
    Step 2: Use following Sequence:
    a. Click on "Overview" Under Goals Menu, as shown in image: http://screencast.com/t/HXJrJ66H1
    b. Now, click on Advanced Segments as shown in image: http://screencast.com/t/kQULMSqP
    c. Click on "New Custom Segment" as shown here: http://screencast.com/t/AhPycoTeGbn2
    d. Set the parameters as per your website and click save segment, see here: http://screencast.com/t/9FocrZkBWoC2

I hope it will work in your scenario, if its not working for you, please don't hesitate to update me for new solution.
