I have a blog, and I frequently upload .pdfs for people to download to see the facts. How can I track how many times the .pdf is downloaded? I used to host them at box.net and it will tell me, but I want to be able to track it on my end. Can I use Analytics to track it? Any ideas? Thanks.
    BTW the blog is PublicRecordsGuy.com

If your pdf opens in web browser you can track by analytics for how many times it was opened. To track no. of downloads some counter plug-ins will be needed. They count for no. of clicks on download link.
