After developing a significant number of text links with various web sites, I find myself neglecting to verify that our links remain posted. It's so tedius to go through hundreds of sites more than once every few months. Does anyone know of a tool that tracks links you've entered to ensure they stay up? If not, someone should make one!
I think you misunderstood my questions. I already use a stats program (AWStats). I'm looking for a way to track links I've purchased from webmasters. Let's say I purchase a 1 year text link from example.com. and do the same thing from 1000 other web sites. The only way I have to insure that they keep my links up for 1 year is to visit each of 1000 sites frequently. I'd rather enter the sites I've purchased links from somewhere and have that program track whether the links are there or not. Is that out there?
try: http://webscripts.softpedia.com/script/Click-Tracking/Reciprocal-Link-Checker-29663.html or search for "reciprocal link tracker" in google since it kind of does the same thing.
Hire a broker, and they will keep track of your links. Similar to us we keep track of every ones links, so the links are never placed in the same location again, and we can fill any size order.
