How to track down 'No Tracking Code' hops?

It was a while before I actually started using the tracking code IDs on my hoplinks.

I tried to go back and 'clean up' any links that I knew about. I got most of them, but I still have about 30-50 hops per day that have 'No Tracking Code'.

Does anyone know of any way to identify those? Does Clickbank have any kind of stats on referall sources?

I'm sure I just missed something somewhere on one of my sites, so I was hoping there was a way to work backwards and figure out where the No Tracking Code hops are coming from and then I could rework those.

    Any thoughts?

I am working on the same issue. Been checking all of my links for the last couple of days. So far I've not had any luck.

I have more of these than I have tracked hops, which confuses me as I always put on a tracking code.

You may have to track by publisher in analytics every couple of hours and narrow it down.

I think it may be impossible, since a user may come to a page a second time just by a type in. But he still has the cookie on his browser with your username.

Unless, a user's visits don't count as hops after the first time. If that's the case I stand corrected :)

Well... I use frames for mine. So basically as soon as they view my site the frame is pulled using a tracking ID. And ive been fretting over how people seem to be using non tracker. But i think it may be the people who have already bought the product and given a link type thing. And like the person said. The cookie has stuck.

    That helped me, too.

And as a result of what I learned from that I ran a test and discovered something interesting.

I use page redirects to cloak my links on my sites.

I coded most of them myself, using generic redirect HTML.

Recently I started using the HTML code that Clickbank provides on their site for redirection. Apparently the views coming from those redirects aren't getting tracked (even though the URLs include the TID). When I visit from a generic redirect, the TID is tracked.

    Hope that helps.

Hmm.... the one site that I actually have redirecting working at the moment tracks the TID properly. But I use php to redirect not html.
