Hi i have a large amount of clicks today. And was wondering if i could check the ip of such clicks, within adsense itself, and not through using adlogger. Then could i ban the ip with adsense? Any advice would be great everyone, thanks
if you want to check the ip of the clicks, you must use adlogger. adsense does not allow you to track click ips
dont use adsense track software, many of them can get you banned. i use the plugin for analytics. says me what ads are clicked and thats it.
I'm not sure about clicks, but I know the new openads has google tracking built in. It's in beta though, so maybe it's not 100% right on.
I recommend www.asrep.com This is just plain BS. Aslong as you don't modify the adsense code it's completely within adsense TOS to use click trackers such as adlogger or asrep.
Once again I'm here to confirm FanAddict. If you've ever read the TOS, there is nothing against trackers within it. You're not modifying the code, or affecting the advertisers in anyway. Read the TOS before you speak. Anyway, if anyone's went back to www.adlogger.com, you'll see he says that www.clickaider.com. It doesn't show you what Ads pay for AdSense, since they haven't been able to crack that, but it's still nice and very accurate.
clickaider in my opinion could be a good tool, except the fact it's web based that they themselves host. I would never trust them to keep my stats accurate.
What "plugin"? Is it directly from Google? If not then it will get you banned according to your way of thinking. Adlogger will NOT get you banned. Adlogger is still valid for tracking the IPs of people who click your ads, you just will not learn what the URL of the ad was that was clicked. Please do not spread rumors or falsehoods.
