well, i think ask.com is using yahoo's database, i am too lazy to check, but i am pretty sure ask.com it's not by itself in here i think you should use the old same linkdomain:www.yoursite.com Peace !
Honestly... I would not even bother w/ Ask.com. They "might" have 1-2% of the web's search traffic... Their results are absolute crap. Half of the traffic they get they bring their themselves through arbetrage (sp?). I wouldn't even waste the bandwidth trying to pull rankings for them... And I used to work for their parent company IACI.
They don't use Yahoo! They have their own index, own crawlers, own algorithm. Yahoo! database is not even going to exist before long. Bing will be soon providing Yahoo!'s organic results. Ask.com DOES display Google Adwords ads intermixed with their on paid ads along side the organic results.
Yea, I think they are shit as well. It's just my client wants it tracked...I think I am just going to ditch it and tell him the deal....I usually just track Yahoo, Bing and Google...Ask.com is just a personal thing he wanted. Thanks guys.
