How to trace Origin?

Can anyone please tell me an easy way to find out a person whereabouts by his email and IP address?

Unless of course they're on a corporate block.

 

E-Mail won't tell you anything. I could use an e-mail server in China. IP address might tell you their general geographical location and should tell you their ISP (if they aren't using a proxy). But, then what are you going to do with that information? Unless you are law enforcement (and even then), the IP address is next to useless.
