How to trace downloaded Website Templates

    Hi Guys,

    I need help on how to trace a webpage, for example if i offer a a template 1234.html for download , then a year later i want to be able to see where it is hosted how many is running my template.

    Any ideas ?

    P.S i Suggest people that dont use alexa toolbar , google why you should use it , it is highly recommended even it its crapy.

    Include a small image in the template that you can track. Such as a 1px by 1px clear spacer and you can track where the image is called from. Most people won't notice this in the theme and not think anything of it. Remember to keep it small however or else you could pay for bandwidth for loading the image over and over
