I have created the image, now I want to laser on to two 18"x18" tiles

I have graphed the image, and then clicked "Effect" " Power Clip" then "place inside container"

But when I try to put the arrow on a tile I get an error" the object is invalid, would you like to try again?

    What am I doing wrong?

I would like to know what most people prefer as far as clients, and graphic designers here for logos.

I am a long time Photoshop user so it comes easier for me, I find Illustrator a tad bit more confusing.

So which program do you use for your logos?
Which do most people prefer their logos to be done in?

are u put your graphed image, powerclip on itself?
    u can't do that.
try to powerclip it on another object ( a new rectangle maybe )

or you can export it to an image first, ex. image1.jpg,
then choose pattern fill dialog on the left toolbars (on the fill tool), the click on : load...
then choose image1.jpg to import it
