I found these to be great ways to annoy people, not that I'd want to...much. HOW TO TICK PEOPLE OFF 1. Leave the copy machine set to reduce 200%, extra dark, 17 inch paper, 99 copies. 2. In the memo field of all your checks, write "for sexual favors." 3. Specify that your drive-through order is "TO-GO." 4. If you have a glass eye, tap on it occasionally with your pen while talking to others. 5. Stomp on little plastic ketchup packets. 6. Insist on keeping your car windshield wipers running in all weather conditions "to keep them tuned up." 7. Reply to everything someone says with "that's what you think." 8. Practice making fax and modem noises. 9. Highlight irrelevant information in scientific papers and "cc" them to your boss. 10. Make beeping noises when a large person backs up. 11. Finish all your sentences with the words "in accordance with prophesy." 12. Signal that a conversation is over by clamping your hands over your ears and grimacing. 13. Disassemble your pen and "accidentally" flip the ink cartridge across the room. 14. Holler random numbers while someone is counting. 15. Adjust the tint on your TV so that all the people are green, and insist to others that you "like it that way." 16. Staple pages in the middle of the page. 17. Publicly investigate just how slowly you can make a croaking noise. 18. Honk and wave to strangers. 19. Decline to be seated at a restaurant, and simply eat their complimentary mints at the cash register. 20. TYPE IN UPPERCASE. 21. type only in lowercase. 22. dont use any punctuation either 23. Buy a large quantity of orange traffic cones and reroute whole streets. 24. Repeat the following conversation a dozen times. "DO YOU HEAR THAT?" "What?" "Never mind, it's gone now." 25. As much as possible, skip rather than walk. 26. Try playing the William Tell Overture by tapping on the bottom of your chin. When nearly done, announce "No, wait, I messed it up," and repeat. 27. Ask people what gender they are. 28. While making presentations, occasionally bob your head like a parakeet. 29. Sit in your front yard pointing a hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow down. 30. Sing along at the opera. 31. Go to a poetry recital and ask why each poem doesn't rhyme. 32. Ask your co-workers mysterious questions and then scribble their answers in a notebook. Mutter something about "psychological profiles." from: http://artlung.com/smorgasborg/how_to_tick_people_off.shtml
I have actually done #2 many times, excpet I havent written "for sexual favors". I have written "Wart Hog Washing Fees", "Bed Wetting Counseling", "Possum Skinning" and other such like on actual checks. Other ways to get people going (I have done all these, as they are fun) 1 Ask the cashier to put each item in it's own individual bag (But dont actually make them do it) 2 Try to order a Whopper at McDonalds (I actually did that today) 3 Walk up to a cashier, hand them a dollar bill and ask for 5 quarters 4 Complain to a cashier that they gave the previous customer more change back than they did you (regardless of what you bought or how much cash you gave them) 5 Call your mother up and tell her that you need to be bailed out of jail 6 Pull up to the drive through and tell the order taker that you have 24 separate orders There are more, but thats all I can think of at the moment
All the above are too Funny except the 5th one ... and from the Top original post ...27. Ask people what gender they are..... would like to try this soon
"5 Call your mother up and tell her that you need to be bailed out of jail." I don't think that would annoy anyone... might upset her though
Oh my goodness you two! These are great! I am laughing so hard I am crying and my stomach hurts! I must be tired. I wonder if this list will be just as funny tomorrow...
I walked into Hardees to get a cup of coffee. The man in front of me in line ordered a cup of coffee and I saw him hand her a 20. After he got his change I ordered a cup of coffee and handed the cashier two $1 bills. When she gave me my change I held my hand open and looked at it kind of strange then looked back up at the cashier. I told her that she had given the other guy a lot more change than she did me! It freaked her out and actually took her a few moments to stutter out that he had given me a higher bill. Believe it or not I actually had a hostess in a Marriott (In Mass.) to give me 3 $10s for a twenty dollar bill. It was hilarious. I often pull this 'trick, but I had handed her a twnety and asked, "Can I get 3 tens for this?" She opened her drawer and counted them out, one, two three. She said thank you, closed the drawer and started to walk away. I said "Excuse me", and showed her what she had given me. Of course she was surprised and hadnt even realized what she had done. I didnt keep the extra ten, it was only a joke. Funny thing is that I have asked for 5 quarters for a dollar, three twenties for a fifty, and the like many times over the years. This was the only time it actually worked.
