There are certain add ons you can get for browsers the only one I can think of that doesn't have one is Safari. Oh and you can also check the sites Source code to find out.

I didnt know that there is already and SEOQuake for Chrome already.

Anyway I think you can know if its do follow if it has no tag rel=no follow when your checking the pagesource of the site. And try installing SEOQuake since it can help you in doing SEO for your blog/site

In addition to looking at the rel="nofollow" attribute, you should also look at page robots metatags and robots.txt - it may forbid indexing and or following (some people keep building google reader profiles thinking they are dofollow just because there's no "nofollow" attribute).

Quirk Searchstatus for firefox will tell you about rel=nofollow and page's robots, but you have to check robots.txt manually. Links can also be generated with javascript, loaded by ajax, etc. So to be 100% sure disable javascript and look at the page source as well as robots.txt.

First, there is NO dofollow link attribute, only nofollow or nothing.

That being said, you can view the pages source code, then search from notepad/wordpad for "nofollow". If it isn't there, then the links are standard.

I usually use SEO Quake for this purpose, too. Just click the 'Source' option when you are on the targeted page. Then, find the link you are after and see if there's no 'nofollow' command before it.

In my case I already use SEO for firefox where you can highlight no follow links. I also use SEO quake wherein you can "Line-through" no follow links. you can check if you want. These are Firefox addons i think.

Viewing the pages source code is the old way to do it, just find an addon if you value your time :)

Hi, I use SEO quake software for determining whether the link is do follow or no follow. It colors or marked all the no follow links on the screen. You can either check it by just clicking right on your web page and by going in the option view page source.
