how to tell host to enable server side caching?

    My new host is great but there is one problem. Almost everytime i goto my sites it redownloads all the images and its not my web browser settings that is doing it. it's the server.

    So i assume its because they don't have the server caching enabled right?

    How would I go about asking this to enable this for me? I know I create a support ticket but whats the best thing to ask to get them to do this so that they know exactly what i am asking of them to do?

    Are you 100% sure its the server and not your browser?

    yup because other sites dont do it and it didn't do it on my old host's server.. only after i moved.

    and i cant seem to find the cache settings that say when to download new content in firefox 2 rc2
