I tried doing that. But it did not work. Do you mean this one http://buddydev.com/plugins/remove-blog-slug-plugin/ . I do not understand the explanation very well though . "Copy your current permalink and then change something in permalink, save it. " ....... Did it work for you?. thanks

hummm, there is nothing on the site. What did you do when it says "do something to the permalink" ?

Ok. so this is what I did before I set the plug in. first I went to the sites section in the super admin dashboard and manually took out the' blog' slug from the Permalink Structure field in the setting tab. That took out the 'blog' slug from the posts......(this has nothing to do the plug in). At this time, the posts have no 'blog' slug anymore but the categories URL's still has it....this is when I installed the plug in......I installed the plug in and follow the instructions but the 'blog' slug is still in the categories URL. ....I do not know if I understood the instructions well. Do I have to go to the permalink structures field, where I removed manually at the superadmin dashboard, or do I have to go to the permalinks in the settings section of the root blog dashboard......and what does it mean to 'change something in the permalink'? ......erase it?...... add?.......did it work for you for the categories url?

    Thanks
