how to take out a script ?

    ok i have a script on my hosting cpanel and i want a copy of it ( the person who sold me the script i can't find him )

    so how can i take the script and make a copy of it ?

    sorry i don't know much about this and don't know if it even can be done or not so please help me

    In your cpanel, you'll see an icon, with the text "Backup" on it, download the home directory (and database if your site uses one).

    Yes, as everyone mentioned, this should be a relatively simple procedure.

    A few items, though:

    1. It is possible that the script is encrypted and has a license key tied to your specific IP or domain name

    2. After you backup the site (and, presumably, the database), you will need to upload both of them to the new website, and then modify a config file (probably config.php) to have the new login settings to your database, as well as any other information that you need to change.
