how to take my site forward? Just stuck in a plateau

    Hey,

    I started my site dentalhealthsite.com nearly a year ago. Worked a lot on it initially and maintaining it reasonable well.

    I got to a point where I was receiving around 400-500 unique hits per day. This was about 6 months ago.

    Im still stuck there. Unable to think what to do next. Covered most of the important topics related to dental health. All i do now is post the latest happenings in dental health.

    I request any suggestions for me.

    - widen your niche..
    - accept users interest and produce more content on that
    - you can find some product to review on
    - if not any then sell it. (let me know if you plan such)

    Maybe look to do some guest posts on relevant blogs sites to encourage traffic and backlinks or look to write traffic generating articles again for both traffic and links

    i am in exactly the same position with a designer clothing site. for over a year we have been stuck at 400-500 unique visits with 3-4-5 sales daily. i have exhausted every method you can think of (besides off-line advertising) and we cannot seem to break past this barrier.

    sorry for hijacking the topic but i've never seen somebody in exactly the same boat!

    On the forum-idea, open the site up to the users... user-generated content will increase traffic and sticky-ness to the site. Stories, reviews, comments....
