    Well, learning new stuff today, this is good.

    Your community ID# is the long, very long, number at the end of the URL, ....communities/938850017698159788567

    As for tagging, it seems that you can not have any punctuation or spaces in the community name and just type in #CommunityName to tag it. I had to edit the name for it to work as I had it possessive, Name's and it tagged to #Name, then dropped the spaces and it still tagged to the #Name. Once I made it all one word it tagged nicely to #NamesTestCommunity.

    Now I know, and knowing is half the battle.... Still do not know if I will use G+ in the future though
