Hello guys,day before yesterday,i did a psd to xhtml/css work for a guy from this forum only. He said that,he will pay me 100$,but he just went offline and he is still not online or has paid. I know his paypal address. I also sent him one INVOICE to send me 100$ ASAP. If he doesnt come online today or tomorrow,then how can i sue him?? Can we put some one in trouble by knowing his paypal info only?? He is a verified member also of paypal. Kindly help me to get my reward for my hard work. I just cant think of getting scammed for 100$. Plz help me.
Leave him a negative Itrader if he doesn't respond to any further e-mails or PM's after coming online. You need to consider that it was the weekend. Unless he comes online, he won't be able to see your PM's. He might also have internet problems.
Give him a week before you do anything drastic because not everyone comes online every day. Give him the benefit of the doubt first. As long as he did not receive the work, it is just a waste of your time. If you do not hear from him, you could sell the design to someone else.
wait 1week you cant do anything only with a paypal acc. and 100$ is small size and if he/she is not in your country; sell your design to another in 1week later and give him - trader
I would advise to wait for a reasonable time, a lot of times we labeled someone a scammer only after 24 hours etc, sometimes due to time difference or factors beyond their control. Once posted, the post remained and is indexed by Google and search engines. I would urged caution and also patience when posting. For $100 you really cant talk about suing it is totally not worth it. Just file a Paypal charge back.
Please wait and see for 2-3 days . After that contact paypal and give that persons paypal address to them and discuss the matter .
Correct me if I'm wrong, but how is he expected to charge back when he has not received the money yet ?
Friends,im waiting for him since 48 hrs now. He is from US only. And his design is also such a non sense that,no one will take it for 5$. I dont know,howcome i agreed to code it for him for 100$. And that night,after i did the work for him,he said me MONEY SENT!! Then i logged into paypal,but there was no money. I said him. he said, "tHE PAYMENT DINT GET THROUGH. IM DISCONNECTING AND AGAIN CONNECTING. HOLD ON. I WILL SEND YOU TH PAYMENT IN A WHILE." but after that,he never came online.. Shit.. i think,i should wait for more 48 hrs..
Many things could have happened. He could have been hit by a truck. Or suffered an extreme case of diarreah. Don't put negative meanings to it just yet
I must say you have been very patient, but it is weekends during the 48 hours so maybe a little more time may be in order. Hopefully you will hear from him and get your money back. Good luck!
How did he transfer the money? it might take a few days to reach your account so I think you should wait with your threats and all..
hmmm i suggest waiting a few more days. Maybe til friday. Also, next time make sure that the person you deal with is somewhat reputable on DP and worst case, charge before giving your work! Hope all goes well!
What do most people on here do, recieve the money and then give them the work or vice versa? Most of the things I sell online I recieve the money for and then give people a link to the product. Seems easy for scammers to get something for nothing in here.
I have to agree about that. The correct order is that if you're selling your services, you should ask for a payment infront. Either way, if he does not respond with your payment, then you will have to leave a negative trader point. I do not know why'd someone ruin his reputation for $100 but you can't do much about it.
