having no backup is your own GROSS professional negligence
    and
if your livelihood depends on OTHER sites publishing your content
then you most likely have a completely wrong business concept as a web publisher
articles (with backlinks) are an added service used to create backlinks to your own quality site

anything of real value to be published
and your entire life/livelihood ONLY and strictly should be under your full direct ownership and control
and never on other sites subject to other ppls TOS

no one can take away your livelihood if you really are on possession and control of all your work - unless you die and lose control

What's the back story. Why do you want the articles removed?

You would waste your time and money by suing them!

Yeah man it sucks but use it as a learning experience. Get to writing content and eiter host it yourself or use it to leverage backlinks to your own content.

Also man you should always have backups of all of your content.
