To succeed in YSM. You will have to set up your bid very high. Because there are lots of competitors there.
And you will also have to find niche keywords as many as possible.

it's a different system with slightly different demographics (large female audience) but the principles are the same. structure your ad groups well, write good copy, send ads to relevant high quality landing pages, and set competitive bid prices. scale what works and cut out what doesn't. tweak and repeat.

Yahoo can do very well it just depends on the demographics you are targeting. I would get your AdWords Campaign dialed in first and then port it to Yahoo. You can export your AdWords campaign with Editor and have a Yahoo rep upload it into Yahoo for you if your campaign is large enough. Then just make minor tweaks it will save you a ton of work.

Yes, this can be very annoying and also quite costly.

I believe this should be against the law of every country that Yahoo are allowed to do this.

It may also be one of the reasons that Yahoo are performing badly where earning revenue is concerned.

I also had good experience with google adwords. But only way to get nice results is to go on local level. If you try with global every bid is simple to expensive.
Yahoo still have much space to experiment.

i dont think same, i make good cash paying $0.50 per click on a highly competitive niche. its not that expensive if you can maintain your quality score...

That's one of the dumbest post I've read on here.

So you're saying there's more competition than on google?

You obviously are not making any money online...

I have used Adwords (Google) for quite some time. The interface is excellent, more iam impressed with the adwords editor where bulk changes can be made very easily. on the contrary, YSM is not that user-friendly. Yahoo guys, have to really work to make their interface user- friendly without much hassles to upload and get the useful data.

While uploading the changes in YSM, u need to have the excel in csv and save in unicode format also header row needs to be deleted.
These complications are not involved in Adwords.

This might be an off kilter topic, but i don't think you'd be able to really succeed in PPC, whether it's Yahoo or Google. I think PPC is on its way out.
