i wonder how to do the same. the traffic from yahoo itself is excellent. the problems is they send you all kinds of other useless clicks as well. if anyone knows how to get rid of them i will be very grateful.

Use the Block Domains feature from the Admistration tab.

Hello, I've read that Yahoo can be a very good source of high converting traffic. It seems to be cheaper than Adwords and you will find way less competition there. Among the resources I've found this Yahoo PPC course seems to be pretty good....hope this can help you....

Do the Yahoo Certification Training. It's not hard and you'll learn stuff. Also, do the Google training, you'll learn a lot about PPC in general. Both are outstanding resources.

Success is like in any other PPC. Yahoo keyword research, research & more research > repeat.

Has anyone found that the Yahoo PPC is converting or is better value for money han Google adwords?

I did a little work on Adwords a little time ago, and I must say, I wasn't impressed with what I got. I did okay and broke even, but it seemed quite expensive for the traffic I was generating.

Is Yahoo any better for value for money? And on top of that, is it as user-friendly as Google's adwords?

    Many thanks

On a similar note, I also recall there being an article or two a couple months back saying that Google and Yahoo had merged their content networks for advertising purposes.

I think it was a brief experiment. Does anyone know if they still do that at all?

I think yahoo is best place for quality traffic, but the traffic volume is very much less than google.

I have clients that do better in Yahoo rather than Google or MSN. I believe the niche has a lot to do with it.

I've found the exact opposite. When I run a campaign on Yahoo they charge me up the Yazoo, but don't deliver the conversions. Google on the other hands charges me fairly with results.

I still have a Yahoo Search Marketing account but its because I haven't completely given up on them.

Just my 2 cents to keep in mind.

    My Best,

    Adam

Adwords is not the only ones so using YSM is a very good idea, especially for beginners.
Same as you would with Adwords. Keyword research, test, throw bad keywords out, replace them, do more testing. Once you find you winner keywords you will be successful.

Pay-Per-Click advertising or for short PPC can be a very profitable way to market your business if done right

Well, it really depends on the niche you are trying to target.
From personal experience, on many cases Yahoo does bring high quality traffic much more frequently than Adwards, with lower ppc costs.

    I have the opposites experience.
Our campaigns are doing better on Google.

    Yahoo interface is very buggy.
