    To get your site listed in the Google Directory, you need to get your site listed in the Open Directory (http://www.dmoz.org/) . The Google Directory is created from the data included in the Open Directory.

    Good luck with that...:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    No need to submit - just start building links and google will find and index your site. Use google webmaster tools to verify.

    just build links and you'll submit your site to google, in submitting to directories navigate the most related category then click submit, you'll directly bring to submit form just fill it up and click submit.

    It's a waiting game. Most editors are lazy. The rest are just absent. If it has not happened by now, chances are it never will.

    The way things work over there is the active editors review the site, make changes, suggest a more appropriate category perhaps, and then its moved on down the stream to the next editor and so on. You also have several levels/layers of editing approval and seniority to deal with.

    Editors get overridden, and ultimately you find that the final say comes down to a pompous asshole of an editor who either does not give a shit, or just is no longer actively editing.
