If there's anyone who's new to internet marketing the first thing most people try is their BUM marketing.

Part of BUM marketing as we all know consists of article submissions.

Here are some quick tips which you should always keep in mind when creating articles for specifically ezinearticles.com which is a very popular choice.

    1. Try to keep the article about 300 words, give the reader some general information but don't get into details, save that for your landing page/squeeze site

    2. Use headings to give the article more flair, people will continue to read if you have interesting headings (ex: Your Interview Success Starts Here)

    3. Use your resource box to cleverly cloak your links. I like to leave about a third of my article in the resource box where I can strategically position clicks.

The use of this tactic leads me to upwards of 30% CTR on a majority of my articles.

    4. Keep the keyword at about 2% or you'll be pestered endlessly to change it.

    5. Always keep the tone conversational and light, make it something interesting and use line breaks to keep it and easy read.

Just five simple tips for you to remember when you're submitting your articles to ezinearticles.com

Here's my author bio so you guys can check them out and see what they're about.

    point 4

Keep the keyword at about 2% or you'll be pestered endlessly to change it.

I usually keep keyword density about 4%

    it`s good for SEO purpose

    Hey Guys,

No problem at all, it's small things like this that will help you get those results.

    @angeal

This is what we're taught to do but ezinearticles will deny anything over 2% dense (at least from my experience) maybe somebody could explain this better but I'm pretty sure 2% is the most that you can have without being forced to change to a lower ratio.

Feel free to post your tips if you have any guys :)

Don't spend all your energy with articles. Try putting some work into building your own 'authority sites' too. They make for a good long term investment.

Ya great tips, EA pretty much only allows you to use one "keyword" for every 100 words..although sometimes you can get away with one here or there but they are pretty strict about keywords.

About point #3, so you mean you write 200 words articles with a 100 words resource box which is a third of the total article and changes with each article?

Right but most people don't have the time or effort to put into that, all though in the long run I agree it will yield much higher results.

Yeah, that's a mistake I made when I was first writing for ezine, I would jam pack my articles with 4% density then have to sift through them taking them out and altering them, super annoying and time consuming.

Yes, and you can position your links strategically to even make them look natural, however my preferred tactic is to leave the body with a BOLD STATEMENT such as 'Still can't get enough information...?'

and underneath that it goes directly into my resource box in which I try to persuade them into trying but don't ever directly post that it's your site, try to offer them something, go out and buy some PLR products and then advertise them.

'I mean if you want the best tips and all for free then check out this huge database list I compiled'

blahblahblah, always have stuff to give them away for free as it persuades them to visit the site.
