how to stop spam emails

Hello folks..

I am writing this email to know a solution to stop spam email. I am receiving hundreds of spam emails to one of my email ID. The sender is using email adress which is fake id and does not exist.

Please let me know how to stop it before Godaddy shuts down my hosting account. Because it already happened with my friend's website as well..

for me it was just to install greylistd, 99.9% of spam was eliminated instantly.

 

How does it works please let me know?

 

prevention is the key. How about not to post your email in this very thread and not let email address scrappers to collect it?

Is you domain diolt.com? if not then you just blacklist the email or domain. If you have account with godday them ask to support to solve you issue.

 

use gmail for handling your domain emails.

 

you add that email to block list and spam filter will automatically delete it and doesn't allow such e-mail to get in your inbox next time. This feature is present in Yahoo

you can simply block the sender that should do the work. and you can find a lots of apps that you can use to block spam

 

I totally agree with wgcom. Use gmail. Their spam filter is so far the best I've ever seen on the Internet.

 

there is another solution , called Sender Policy Framework or SPF
it will prevent someone sending you mail using your domain in from field.

all major email providers use it, google yahoo etc..
but much much more easier will be just to use google or yahoo mail hosting.
