i came to that conclusion when i do a search on those terms on google. no ads appear at the right side of the search results page. Asian Playboy has backed up this possible suggestion.

Just out of curiousity, have you tried google Section targeting? By placing this code around the section of your content that you would like to target, it might help. Just an idea. I've got that problem on one of my sites, so I'll try it and report back.

Jesus i'd have to rip at least half+ my content off the main page if i followed those stop words. I run a news website. (i can't just NOT display certain things in the news) During the last week for some odd reason i'm showing nothing but a PSA on the main page. Nothing in the website structure or its 'fresh' content has changed at all. It had run with ads properly for at least 6 months. But for some reason in this last week, it's all gone.

It's because of stop words? What stop words do you have in your main page?

really depends on whats in the news, i counted probly 10 out of that list (likely more like 10-15+) i'd guess over time i hit them all maybe? (except for really explicit porn related & profanity)

I think the drug related stop words are interesting, considering adwords can run marijuana ads no problem. that also goes for abortion, stroke, poison, suicide, death related (funeral etc.) overdose, cancer, etc.. etc.. whats with the double standard?

Should've seen what happened when i ran an asian news ad on adwords, hits came from almost entirely porn sites, i couldn't believe it. Granted partially because i accidently added a bunch of porn related (auto) words into that ad list (why would adwords auto gen these?) but i was totally offended that so many porn sites are allowed to even run adsense ads. None the less all the porn related keywords google generated. From what i could tell half of it wasn't even legitimate traffic. I think i shut the 'asian news' section down (the adwords ad) because of it, that or i cut out so many keyw's from the list that section is no longer getting traffic.
