Just found out that some auto blog is stealing all my content. I usually dont mind when this happens because they usually link back to your site. However, this guys blog doesnt provide a link its just copying all my content. How do I stop it?

You can edit the format of your RSS feed so that it contains only part of your article with a link to where it came from. So if the person that is stealing your content is subcsribed to your RSS feed they cant use it without the link automatically being attached to it. If you have Blogger, you may not be able to do it though. I have heard that Blogger doesn't not have that function.
The person taking your content may not realize that you don't condone their using your content for their own purposes. You could also ask them to remove your RSS feed from their site tactfully and they may do it.
The only other option I'm aware of is the long, hard process of filling what is called a DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act ) complaint.

Other than this, I don't know what you would do.

Most autoblogs copy other sites by copying their rss feeds. If you change the rss feed so the old rss feed url won't work then the autoblog will no longer copy your blog. And since it is an autoblog and most likely abandoned no one will bother to put your new rss feed url into the autoblog.

There are a number of things you can do to crack down on blogs that steal content. It's easiest if the blog is hosted at wordpress, blogger, or another reputable blog host. If it's not, you may be out of luck to get the blog shut down, but you do have avenues of recourse if the blog is featuring prominently in google search results and/or serving google ads.

I recently wrote about this. You can find a few tips about how to crack down on spam blogs on my post about tea spam blogs. That post is specifically about tea blogs but most of the advice there is universal. I especially recommend the tips about reporting the spam to google. I've seen sites pulled from search results rather quickly when I've reported more blatant violations.

Also, if you want to get more aggressive, if the site seems to be receiving some traffic or ranking high in google search results, it wouldn't hurt to type the site's URL into Yahoo site explorer and seeing if there are any links to the site from prominent, reputable websites that are actively mantained. In most cases, there probably won't be, but if there are, you can contact the webmasters of these sites with a polite request to let them know that it's an auto-blog that's stealing content; they will probably be grateful for your report and will quickly remove their link.

If the site isn't ranking high or drawing any traffic, do the easy aspects of reporting but don't waste your time pursuing it.

I had this problem too, and still until now.

Some of them are not even autoblogs, they did look at our page sources and exact copy our blogs. (mine was copied including the adsense codes!)

I usually email them and telling that's my hardwork..so far they did remove the articles..

Don't forget to redirect images in your site to an image to prevent hotlinking.

If emailing does not help (I would say, be patient about it)..then report to the advertisers that are in the blog, example, adsense, affiliate ads, report to them, they should put the ads away..

I would also post this blog URL everywhere (unlink) so the owner will be ashamed LOL...

Do remember though, Google will ignore them, since your content is the original one. (the first)

I hope the answers here will help you, i hate those blogs too, they just steal our contents without link back.
