Ah but I drank 2 pots one day and felt really really gross.. I don't know if it was the caffeine but... my heart was racing really quickly and had a hard time breathing.. (happened once before) ....

well yeah, the face is only like 8% of your total body surface :)
the problem with the stimulants is that they are short term, most of them usually resulting in a 'crash'.
Maybe you could do exercise or better yet start combining the suggestions. Drinking coffee in the cold shower while running
earth to I can't believe it's not butterfingers :p , her first post said caffein or even caffeine was not effective for her anymore

Wow! So that's a lot of things to do.. shower.. excersize... shower.. drink coffee... smoke?? Oh if I did all of these things just to stay awake, I wouldn't get any work done (which is the purpose to stay away) Lol!!

Yeh sleeping in the day before is the best. You don't feel tired. Try not to make staying awake influenced by drink , food or drugs.

I do lots of green tea periodically which is awesome cuz it doesn't get you jittery fast.

It is a simple test of your willpower :) If you really want to stay awake, you will

PS- I haven't had to undergo that test :p

Don't push your body too far - it will punish you.

Also the longer you stay up the less effective you are at :

    - completing task
    - understanding things
    - remembering things

In most cases you're better to go to bed and just start work when you're rested.
